Here are some tips to help keep your freight cost as low as possible.

Address: Ship to a verified Commercial Address. Be honest about your address. They use maps to determine if it’s a commercial address. There is a $50-$75.00 Residential delivery. In most cases shipping to a residential address will automatically add other charges.

Unloading: Most major LTL Carriers no longer allow for breakdown of orders on the back of trailers. If you do not have a dock, forklift, or other way to unload. You will be required to book a Lift Gate Delivery. At present a Lift Gate Delvery charge is $95.00 and up. Also, a lift gate will slow down your delivery. Not every trailer has a lift gate. Your order may set for days until a trailer with a lift gate is available.

Appointments or Phone Calls: Requesting a phone call ahead or scheduling a delivery appointment. Any request for contact or special deliver instruction will automatically move your order to an appointment status. This will add a charge of $30-$50.00 to your order along with slowing your delivery. As it will set at the terminal and will not load for delivery until they can reach you.

Address and Phone Number: Verify your phone number and ship to address before we ship. If for some reason the freight company needs to contact you. Your contact info is incorrect or you don't answer your phone. Your order will be delayed. Remeber they call durning normal buisness hours. Make sure the phone number you give us is monitored.

Take Your order if It shows up: If they must come back, most companies will charge an additional $150.00 and up for a redelivery.

Terminal Pick Up: If you can drive to the closest terminal near you and you can pickup during normal buisness hours. With in 48 hours of arrival at the terminal. We can arrange for you to pick up at the terminal. There is no need for most of the above charges.

Keep It Simple: The more delivery serives you request, will limits us as to what carriers we can use. Not all cariors provide the same services. Request as few services as possible. Not booking a service then requesting it will still require you to pay for the service.
